California nanny Nubia Del Carmen Preza is suing the 25-year-old actress for unspecified damages in connection with a September 2010 car crash.
TMZ reports the nanny was pushing a stroller across a West Hollywood intersection when she was hit by Lohan, who ran a red light in her Maserati sports car.
While the child escaped injury, the nanny claims she was hurt, which is why she brought the charges Wednesday.
According to the Associated Press, Preza argues she suffered “disabling and serious personal injuries, pain, suffering and anguish” and is seeking damages for medical bills and missed hours of work.
A spokesman for Lohan tells the AP neither his client nor her attorneys had been served with the lawsuit and did not comment.
The actress remains on probation for a 2007 drunk driving arrest.
I hope she has to pay a sh*t load of cash because she hit a freaking nanny pushing a stroller!! That is like, the worst thing you can do. What would have happened if she hit the stroller?! Geez, Lindsay.
