Well, I guess this means there probably won’t be any reconciliation between these two! US Weekly is reporting that Russell is already seeing other women, which in my opinion is really soon to be doing so since they haven’t even been divorced yet. Barely even filed for it! Happy New Year, Katy.
“She discovered through her friends,” an insider tells Us of how Perry found out about 36-year-old Brand’s wandering eye. “One of the women told a friend of hers and it got back to Katy.”
And the Rock of Ages actor’s new ladies aren’t the only ones doing the talking. Brand — who blindsided Perry by filing for divorce December 30 — has been trashing her to his conquests.
“He’s spoken terribly about Katy to them,” the source says of Brand, who has sought out one particular woman to “explore a relationship” with. “[Russell] told her he wanted her to move in with him after the divorce is final,” confirmed the insider.
If all of this is true, which is suspect anyways because we are talking about a tabloid but I digress, then Russell Brand is a giant flaming douchebag. It’s one thing to have a relationship end. Most people have gone through this at one time or another. But to immediately go out with other women, and then also talk so badly about your estranged wife- that’s low, buddy. Low low. But somehow, I’m not actually surprised. But you know what? Katy should just keep her head up, get through this divorce and come out of this a better, stronger person. This whole thing just screams that they never should have gotten married in the first place, and I bet both of them know that by now.
