Kristen Stewart For Balenciaga Florabotanica

So here it is! Kristen’s first ad for Balenciaga’s new fragrance Florbotanica. And just from the looks of it, it probably costs way too much. What do you think? I think she looks great. And I love that dress a LOT.

During an interview with WWD, Stewart admitted she was unsure about how she should pose for the photos. ”When I first stood there, I was like, ‘OK, do you want me to show the curves of the dress? Do you want me to stand like this? Like that?’ And they were like, ‘Just be comfortable.’”

Along with approving of the futuristic floral ad (shot by famed photographer Steven Meisel), she’s also 100 percent happy with the fragrance.

“There is something natural about it,” the On The Road actress explained. “It’s very alive. I think that as a young person wearing it — considering that I’ve never worn a scent — it kind of puts you on this level of, like, ‘Whoa, check me out.’”

The star also admitted that she was rather nervous to initially smell it. “I’m very lucky that I like the fragrance, because I would have done anything with [Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquière],”she revealed. “And I’m a terrible liar.”

Florabotanica features notes of vetiver, amber and caladium-leaf accord, a (hybrid) rose, carnation and mint accord and is set to be released in September.People

I love the fact that she’s never worn a ‘scent’ and I actually believe her. And I like that they just let her, literally, stand there with her hands in her pockets. She’s just, standing there. Staring. And now you must go buy the perfume. Such a weird concept.
