Robin Thicke ‘Fought To Save His Marriage’.. Yeah, Right

I guess ‘fighting to save your marriage’ means grinding up on many different women, and grabbing their asses in photographs and who the hell else knows what. I was unaware of this tactic to save your marriage. Apparently so was Paula.

“Robin wanted to save their marriage, but it was Paula’s choice and she ended it,” the insider tells Us. “Robin does not want this divorce.”

That being said, Thicke, 36, wasn’t surprised by Monday’s announcement of their separation after eight years of marriage. The joint statement issued to Us read: “We will always love each other and be best friends. However, we have mutually decided to separate at this time.”

“Robin was not blindsided — he knew this was coming out,” a second source tells Us. “But he was committed to saving their marriage. He didn’t want this.”

“She is done with the marriage, but he was definitely fighting to stay together until the last moment,” another insider told Us. “It is still cordial between them, but they are now figuring things out.”

Dude has had a laundry list of bad decisions stemming from that damn ‘Blurred Lines’ song/video. Basically, after Paula Patton decided to end this relationship I started to like and respect her a whole hell of a lot more than I had before. She’s obviously DONE with being the wife who stays home while the husband is out playing grab ass with trashy chicks in bars. Good for her.
