That figures. Anytime someone is engaged for like.. over a year or 2, you KNOW it’s not going to end in marriage. So, they’re done and apparently they’re still amicable because they’re co parenting, and she’s already moved on to Derek Hough.

The actress, 35, and Bellamy, 36, started dating in 2010, and got engaged in April 2011. They welcomed their son Bingham “Bing” Hawn Bellamy in July 2011. (Hudson is also mom to 10-year-old son Ryder with her ex-husband Chris Robinson.)

As previously reported by Us this past February, the two were rethinking their three-year engagement while dealing with issues in their long-distance relationship. After spending some time apart, the two reunited in March with the intention of staying together for Bing.

That’s always a great idea. Stay together FOR THE KIDS. Guess what? kids would probably be a lot happier if mom and dad weren’t sniping at each other constantly. And then.. 2 Christmases!

In an interesting twist to this story, Us reported Monday that Hudson has moved on with DWTS fan favorite Hough. Multiple sources told Us that the two were together this past weekend at the Nice Guy Restaurant in L.A., where they enjoyed dinner, drank, and stayed at the spot past closing.

An insider tells Us that despite Hudson rebounding with Hough, the actress and her former rocker beau are amicable after the split. “It was coming apart for some time,” the source says.

Yes, that is an interesting twist, because I still think Derek Hough may not play for her team.
